Meet the Artist behind the Arts...

Dileema Medonza is a Sri Lankan children’s book illustrator known for her unique and realistic style, which has attracted many children’s book authors and young readers. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Ruhuna and initially began her career as a director of a family-owned company. However, since childhood, her true passion has always been art, and she mastered pencil portraits and oil paintings whenever she had time.

In 2023, Dileema decided to pursue her childhood passion for art full-time. Discovering the world of digital art, she found a way to blend creativity with her career goals while leading her to specialize in children’s book illustrations.

Dileema has collaborated with authors from across the globe, including those from Canada, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland etc. Her illustrations have captured the imaginations of both authors and children while earning praise for their realistic style, emotional expressions, attention to detail, and vibrant color palettes.

Dileema’s dedication to her art is evident in every project as she continues to bring enchanting stories to life through her art, leaving a lasting impact on children’s literature.
